We know such artists as Ernest Shepard (illustrated 'Winnie-the-Pooh"), Randolph Caldecott (illustrated books with Nursery Rhymes), Yevgeny Ivanovich Charushin (illustrated books about animals), Ivan Yakovlevich Bilibin (illustrated a lot of Russian folkloric tales).
